Who we are...
...two licensed tour guides of Verona and Modena. Put yourselves in our hands and discover two wonderful gems of italian art and culture.

Our idea simply comes out of the fact that the territories of Verona and Modena are historically connected. Since ancient times they've always shared an important historical and cultural heritage. From the Adige Valley right into the heart of the Po Plain, following a privileged itinerary for commerce and traffic, two similar and interdependent cultures developed. The main example are the three marvellous romanesque churches of S. Zeno in Verona, the Abbey of S. Silvester in Nonantola and the Cathedral of Modena. All born in the same period and from the same expert hands of Wiligelmo and its school.
So, we asked ourselves why? Until now, no one has thought to give an opportunity to the interested and curious traveler to experience to compare two worlds that are close to one another and rich with local peculiarities. Two different cities and regions, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna, but two great opportunities to experience the rich and broad-based heritage of Italian colors.

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
since we are not a travel agency, we can't practise service intermediation. That means that every service will be paid directly on site and we cannot accept prepayment for our fees.

DANIELE BRESSAN

Daniele I was born in Verona in 1982. After the Diploma of Turistic Operator and the graduation at the Universities of Trieste and Munich, I worked for a few years at the Tourist Information Office of Verona, being directly in touch with tourists and guests. This experience made me aware of the client's needs, I learnt how to plan tours and itineraries and how to promote  the great variety of landscapes, history, products and sites of my home land, even the unknown ones. Thanks to these experiences, I could establish "Veronaround" in 2011, a company that organizes excursions in the Verona province, to discover little artistic and historical treasures, excellent local farms, wineries and producers of the Verona region. I love living in nature, gardening, cycling, buying at local food markets and cooking for friends, tasting good wine and travelling.

FRANCESCO MAZZAI

I was born in Verona in 1983. I studied Tourism at the Universities of Padua, Ferrara and at the University of Granada, Spain. After working for years in my father's bookshop, in 2008 I became Tour Leader and I started working with some agencies, in Italy and abroad. My passion for interactive tourism, in which the traveler is not passive but active protagonist of his experience, was born in 2008, thanks to my collaboration to "Whaiwhai" project, the first series of interactive travel guides, as author (Amor - Verona, 2008), ghost writer (2054 - Florence, 2008), editor and proof reader. In 2012 I became Licensed Tour Guide of Verona, its provinces and the venetian villas. In 2013 the project of interactive guided tour "Play the City" was born, a project that combines the taste of the storytelling with that of discovery. I live in Lonigo, at the foot of the wonderful Colli Berici, one of the best starting points for who wants to know the Palladian villas.
